Paint Spot Review

Today I went to this place called the Paint Spot with a friend here in town. Several places like this exist. Basically, you purchase a piece of pottery [could be a dish, mug, ornament, platter, piggy bank, etc.] & you pay a painting fee. Then you sit around for a couple hours & paint the pottery. Once you're finished they'll fire it for you. It's ready to pick up in a week.

Sometimes it's hard to think of an awesome idea of what to paint right on the spot. There are many ideas throughout the shop. Also, once you see all the things you could potentially decorate, you'll probably get ideas.

I originally thought I'd paint grapes on a mug for my mom, but once I got there, I decided on painting an ice cream bowl for my boyfriend. There are four scoops of ice cream painted on the inside of the bowl, with the word 'nomnomnom' repeated around the top outside border of the bowl. I'll post pics once available.

Total cost: $23.90
